Typeface versioning

I have been using MB typefaces for years. On some of my computers I have Concourse 4, while on others I have Concourse T3, Concourse T6, Concourse C3, etc. I imagine Concourse 4 is a newer version that supersedes the others and which I installed at some point in the past, but honestly I don’t remember. Can anyone please clarify?

In particular:

  • Does Concourse 4 supersede T3, T6, C3, etc.?
  • If not, what’s the difference, and do I need both?

Concourse T# was replaced by Concourse #. Font family names only change when there’s a major update, and the last one happened in spring of 2021 (see FAQ).

The changelog for the Concourse family shows:
