Your Account

You must create and log into an account to use some features of the forum.

To create an account, you must be at least 13 years old and provide a valid e-mail address and to keep that address up-to-date. You may close your account at any time by emailing me at mb@mbtype.com.

You are responsible for all action taken using your account, whether authorized by you or not, until you close your account. Please notify me immediately if you suspect your account has been compromised.

I may restrict, suspend, or close your account on the forum in response to copyright-related takedown requests, or if you’ve broken any rule.

Your Content

Material you submit to the forum belongs to you. You grant me a license to provide this material to other users of the forum. That license allows me to copy, publish, and analyze content you submit to the forum.

I will review requests to delete material from the forum on a case-by-case basis. In general, if you’re deleting your account, I won’t delete your posts, because it would vandalize the record of the those conversations.

I reserve the right to delete anything from the forum for any reason.

Limits on Liability

You accept all risk of using the forum and content on the forum. You waive both the implied warranty of fitness and the implied warranty against infringement of third-party rights.

Choice of law & forum

California law governs these terms. Any dispute related to these terms can be brought only in state or federal court in Los Angeles, CA. Neither you nor I will object to jurisdiction, forum, or venue in those courts. You & I agree to service of process at the email address associated with our user accounts.

Changes

I last updated these terms on July 13, 2022, and may update these terms again. Your logging in to the forum constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
